Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:598916383
Your Discord Username: ksaloll
Your Age: 18
Your Time zone: EEST
Total Time in Server: 17 hours and 39 minutes
Do you have a Microphone? Yes.
Are you comfortable with speaking in-game? Of course, if my microphone isnt acting up
Do you have any previous moderation experience? Yes, i've been a head moderator on civilnetworks, I was also event lead. I have experience with bad actors and i know how to deal with people who can cause tantrums over warnings
Do you have any in Server Warnings? No
Describe a time where you showed leadership or decision making: I lead a CI raid and I've trained and helped new players into MTF regiments. (In other servers, i used to be a Brigade Commander on Civilnetworks and also a GOC major)
Name 3 bad qualities about yourself that you wish to improve on: Vocabulary as i feel like my english is poor due to it being my 3rd language/ Activity / Being serious when needed.
How would you de-escalate an argument happening in server: I will first ask what happened and listen to both parties and determine who is right and wrong, ill explain to the wrong person why they are wrong and how they could avoid such arguments in the future and ill also tell the person on the right to avoid such arguments if they know they did the right thing.
A player is caught team killing for no apparent reason. Upon questioning, the user states that they killed their own friend and got verbal permission from them over call, however the other user isn't available to give their statement (because they left the game.)
Looking at the offender's profile, you find that they have some warnings related to team killing weeks/months ago.
How do you proceed? I would still warn them regardless because it would be their word agaisnt the action without concrete evidence.
A player makes a ticket to say another user has been harassing them in-game through voice and local chat. They provide a short clip that shows the accused using insulting or inappropriate language. You approach the situation, but the reporting player refuses to give more details or answer follow-up questions.
How do you proceed? I will bring the user that has been 'harrassing' them and ask them to explain and hear both sides, if it was genuine roleplay like D-class insulting guards i would tell them its allowed but they should really keep it light such as "screw you" or something similiar and i would also check chatlogs to see if it's been constant or not.
You receive a report that a CMD member has been adding and removing players from department whitelists without valid reason. Logs confirm they removed several players and added others without following proper procedure or logging it anywhere. When questioned, the CMD gives vague responses like “I thought it was fine” or doesn’t respond at all.
How do you proceed? I will explain to them that they'll be getting stripped from their position as they should know better considering they are a command member and should be an example to others in the regiment such as NCO and Senior NCOs
ill also proceed to add back the removed players and remove the new players and provide a secondary training for those who were actually trained into the regiment, if they passed once they'll be able to pass again and apologize for the inconvinience
I swear that I told the truth, as well I swear that I did not use the assistance of generative AI or gain answers from a staff member/ex-staff member. Yes
